The local fans can’t wait for the home debut of their heroines after a sloppy start in the domestic competitions as well as on the European arena. They indeed lost 1:3 and 0:3 to Banks BPS Fakro MUSZYNA and Tauron MKS DABROWA GORNICZA in the national league and this past week they were ousted 1:3 by Italy’s AsystelCarnaghi VILLACORTESE in their CL debut. However, Atom Trefl recently got past the still unbeaten Aluprof BIELSKO-BIALA (3:1) via a very solid and remarkable performance of their Australian diagonal player Rachel Rourke, who scored 26 points all alone.
“We were very patient and focused on every single ball, so we finally showed the way we can play and this should be our goal every time we square off our there on the field of play. We still have to fix our block, which is actually the fundamental where we have the greatest potential, but I am sure this will come in a few matches” says Klaudia Kaczorowska.
This will be the third time these sides cross their ways in the Champions League after last year Atom Trefl got past the Czech national champions twice and always in straight sets, quite a good omen for the match coming up on Tuesday.
