The fans and media in Poland are not satisfied with the results of both Men’s and Women’s national team in the recent continental championships. And it’s not a new fact. Thus, there have been some changes – for instance, Men’s NT head coach Ferdinando De Giorgi got sacked. So, what will happen with the Women’s NT head coach Jacek Nawrocki?

“Demanding blood, for me, is irrational. Many people who write about the female volleyball do not realize what’s going on in it. When I spoke to the reporters about the strength of our pool and the Azerbaijani National Team, many of them were holding the head with their hands and said that I had no idea what I was talking about. As for the changes in the coaching staff, I personally want to be in the Women’s team and do everything to reduce the distance that separates it from the top level teams. I am convinced that the direction we have adopted is good. If anyone wants blood, let’s have a look at whether teams must always win medals. Maybe there are two, three, five years, when you need to work hard and go back two steps to make a few more forward later? Without commenting on the accomplishments of the staff, every observer can say that what we see now is the current state of the Polish Women’s National Team. If someone does not see this, it is either blind or doing it deliberately,” Nawrocki, who was even mentioned as the successor of De Giorgi in the Men’s NT, stated for sport.pl.

“In my opinion, the players that were on the roster at the European Championship do not deserve criticism because they are the nucleus of the team that will move to the top soon. In order to win medals at the European Championship, players need to be on a high international level, to stand out, to be outstanding individuals. At this point, let’s ask ourselves, how many of these players we have in our team. I mean on the girls who come out on the floor, and without exception, they beat the Russians, Italians, Serbians, Turks, Dutchwomen, and Azerbaijani. In the current situation, we can get a favorable result in one match against them, but in general, we can’t see ourselves as favorites when facing such teams,” Nawrocki, who will likely stay at the helm of the Polish Women’s NT until the end of his contract, added.

In the head of Polish fund heads, many!! But in real, zero!! For them Kurek is a star?!?! Or maybe Kubiak?! Look at Plus Liga for a moment: only Lisinac!!! Not even one serious player will not play there this season!

that’s nice alibi but can’t explain how USA can compete without a backbone like a league. All they got are college players and pro players overseas.
