The game is a promotional campaign for Unicef, and PGE Skra Belchatow and Poland will play 9 15 point sets. Winner will be the team who won more sets. Each set will be played like it was a tie-break, the only difference is if the result is 15-15, the team who scores the 16 point will be the winner, two poin difference won’t be needed.
Miroslaw Przedpelski proposed this idea.
“This is a proposal interesting and revolutionary, which can drastically change our sport,” stated the President of the Polish club Konrad Piechocki.
“This system should make the games more interesting, better for the fans and will also be welcomed by the television channels which will have more room for advertising.“
