It is not new if we say that traveling long distances by plane is difficult for athletes who are tall such as volleyball players. That’s because they usually travel in the economic class where they struggle to find comfort due to their height.
This is the reason why Russia men’s national team asked Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Olga Golodets, for the possibility of providing them charter flights for the games. These would be most necessary for traveling to the Nations League Games in which Russia, just like many other national teams that compete, move from a continent to a continent.
The „Zbornaya“ delegation submitted the request at the recent meeting with Golodets in which she congratulated them for winning the gold medal in the 2018 Nations League in behalf of the country’s government. And, she promised that the government will take care of the matter.
