Recall that the famous coach was the first who publicly called for the resignation of Andrey Voronkov, while now he emphasized that the elimination of Russia from the World League Group 1 will have a serious impact on volleyball in the country.
“It is strange and unusual situation for Russia. Group 2 is not our place. Of course that it will affect our image, our finances, our younger generations… That is why the current situation is very serious and somebody should take responsibility for what has happened to the Russian volleyball…” said Shiipulin for R-Sport.
Russia has finished the World League Group 1 at the last place with the overall score 1-11!
