„Interesting how the referees don’t know or they totally ignore very clear rules of the game!“ the head coach of the Dutch National Team wrote on Twitter.
Although he did not mention on whom specificaly he thought by this, according to the photos he attached, it is clear he was speaking about Russia’s National Team.
Guidetti pointed out that Russian players were performing so-called „screening“ which is strictly forbidden by the rules of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). Simply put, they are preventing rivals to clearly see which player from their team is serving. And it occured in Russia’s both games so far at the 2016 FIVB World Grand Prix.
