“Last 2 days were full of tension for me and for Enisey Krasnoyarsk volleyball club because of a huge misunderstanding! I want to clarify the situation. All of this happened because of my answer to the question why I left Enisey. But, this is the answer I really wanted to give:”
“I did it because I did not like the way how we were working in the gym and how we were practicing during trainings, while also I did not like how our medical staff was acting when some player get injured. In my case they did some treatment which I considered it was not good for a long period of time, because the injury could repeat. Nobody gave me any ultimatum, nobody was saying to me that I have to do something I did not want to. That’s a case of different kind of interpretation of my words which put my side and Enisey Volleyball Club side under big tension. We are talking about a huge misunderstanding! If there had been any problem I do not think that we would have parted ways in a way how we did it – In a really normal and professional way! I really hope this time my words will be understood in a normal way how it should be,” stated Nikolov for WorldofVolley.
Recall that the Bulgarian media published that Nikolov accused Enisey Krasnoyarsk of giving him illegal substances as pain-killers, while later on the Russian club called the accusations a complete nonsense.
