WL 2017: Shlyapnikov announces 18 players; Spiridonov, Bakun and Filippov crossed out!

Sergey Shlyapnikov will play in the World League without the most experienced players.

After Muserskiy, Mikhailov and Grankin, that previosly announce that they won’t play in World League, three more players won’t get a chance in this year’s edition of World League – Alexey Spiridonov, Konstantin Bakun and Igor Filippov.

Shlyapnikov will try to attack the trophy with these 18 players:

Setters: Sergey Antipkin (Dinamo Moscow), Pavel Pankov (Kuzbass Kemerovo), Dmitry Kovalev (Ural Ufa)

Opposites: Maxim Zhigalov (Belogorie Belgorod), Alexander Chefranov (Gazprom Yugra), Alexander Kimerov (Fakel),  Egor Feoktistov (Ural Ufa)

Outside-Hitters: Egor Kliuka, Dmitry Volkov (Fakel), Dmitriy Ilinykh, Denis Biryukov (Dinamo Moscow);

Middle Blockers: Ilyas Kurkaev (Lokomotiv Novosibirsk), Vadim Likhosherstov Ilya Vlasov (Fakel), Dmitry Shcherbinin (Dinamo Moscow)

Libero: Valentin Krotkov (Zenit Kazan), Artem Zelenkov (Dinamo-LO), Roman Martynyuk (Belogorye Belgorod).
