The Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) sent Meryem Boz on a plane to Belgrade, Serbia, for the semi-final match against the host at the 2021 CEV Women’s Volleyball European Championship.
The Turkey National Team will be stronger by Boz in the semi-finals of CEV Women’s EuroVolley 2021 against Serbia. The TVF President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ stated for the national public broadcaster TRT that the opposite hitter had a small problem in Romania (in the group stage) and that some doubts have arisen. Boz was taken to Turkey by air ambulance, all the tests were carried out in Istanbul, and she has passed all the checks and is in good health.
Recall that the player had left the tournament after the conclusion of the group stage in Cluj-Napoca with the suspicion of the infection with Covid-19.
