Baku, Azerbaijan, February 7, 2012. Having claimed a 3:1 away win last week in Switzerland, Azerrail BAKU is looking quite confidently towards the return match for the 1/8 finals of the 2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League against Volero ZÜRICH that is scheduled for this Wednesday, February 8.

If they win also that second match, the players of Azerrail will make sure their club advances to the 1/4 finals of Europe’s most elitist competition for the first time since the 2003/2004 season thereby making a huge leap forward along the way to the final four that is set to take place in Azerbaijan’s capital city in late March.

We shall not look too far because Volero has plenty of young, talented and ambitious players” says the head coach of Azerrail, Faig Garayev.

They already caused us some problems last week in Switzerland and they will try to do the same also here in Baku. We shall keep cool but at the same time not be too laid-back” he adds.
