After losing to Asseco Resovia RZESZOW and Bre Banca Lannutti CUNEO, this time Arago de SETE asserted its supremacy right from the start of the match with setter Benjamin Toniutti being well supported by its receivers. Remat tried to respond with Serban Pascan and Silmar De Almeida with the score being leveled at 18 all. Good blocks by José Trefle and attacks by Stanislas Rabiller paved the way for a good final rush by Arago de SETE that finished it off with an ace by Raphael Mrozek and a block by Toniutti.
Remat could not find any solution to stop the march of Arago de SETE that went up 19:10; ZALAU was able to reduce a bit the gap (21:16) but Trefle got his side back on track for the provisional 2:0. Things did not change much also in the third set where the home side went up 14:10 and then could pocket the final 3:0 (25-22). The return match is scheduled for next week in Romania and Arago will try to back up its third place in the standings.
