The head coach of the Brazil Men’s National team, Renan Dal Zotto – who was diagnosed with Covid – was intubated to maintain the highest oxygen saturation level. The information was released by the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV). Renan must be intubated for 48 to 72 hours before eventually being removed from the mechanical respirator.
He had mild coronavirus symptoms, but had a low saturation and needed assistance. Renan has already taken the first dose of the vaccine but is still waiting to take the second. Because of his age (60), but also for being a physical education professional, he belongs into the priority health group for vaccination.
