Marouf‘s team Shahrdari Urmia reported a day ago that Russian club is going to sign him. It would be a great reinforcement for the team from Kazan. It’s not official yet.
Marouf was named as the best setter in the World League 2014, where he helped Iran finish fourth.
So, it means that French setter Benjamin Toniutti will have to search for another club.
