– Ms. Fetting, were the players rewarded for the finals?
– The training schedule was already fixed: New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day there was no training, but today starts the preparation for the next Bundesliga match: On Saturday we play against Stuttgart – this time at home and for important points for direct playoff qualification.
– Did the players get a bonus?
– No, we didin’t make any extra payment to the team. Basically, it’s a dream come true, of course. However, this is only one stage which we did. We have a lot of plans for the next few months.
– What do you expect on 3 March?
– I expect a lot of support, and to give our best.
– And the fans?
– Of course! Their support was terrific. We hope to have their support on that game.
– The final will inspire the team for the league?
– That can be good. We all know that the good first round will worth nothing if we don’t continue winning points.
– The strong performances from your players aroused the interest of many top clubs: Are you concerned that your players will leave?
– Our players are bound to us by the summer. And one thing is clear: we will try to do our homework so that VCW remains interesting for all.
