River vs. Bolivar
In the 4th weekend of the tournament, the defending champions Bolívar beat, by far, the worst side in the league at the moment, River Plate, in straight sets to get a 4-2 record. The Bulgarian Rozalin Penchev topped Bolívar with 14 points. Rodrigo Villalba made 11 points for River, who are at 0-5.
By sweeping UNTreF Voley (2-3), UPCN (3-3) ended a two-game losing streak. The Pole Zbigniew Bartman was the best scorer in UPCN with 13 points. The Cuban Osniel Melgarejo notched the same amount of points for the losing side.
By looking at the Liga BNA rankings, it is clear that both Bolívar and UPCN will have to work hard to catch up with the hits Ciudad Voley (5-1) and Lomas Voley (4-0) to grab No.1 and No.2 for the playoffs. But, the Regular Season is long in Argentina and, as it seems, full of interesting results!
