With the victory, in which Cuban Miguel López scored 14 points (76 % reception; 48 % excellent) and Isac Santos made 4 blocks, the Contagem team remained the vice-leaders in the table with 28 points, 2 less than the first placed EMS Taubaté Funvic.
Minas Tênis Clube beat Azulim/Gabarito/Uberlândia and reached the fifth consecutive victory in the competition. The Belo Horizonte team won in straight sets thanks to 18 points from Henrique Honorato and 87 % reception (47 % excellent) from Maique Nascimento.
Vôlei UM Itapetininga (Renan Buiatti 27 points, Johan Marengoni 6 blocks, Guilherme Emina ‘Guiga’ 73 % reception /62 % excellent/) ended their own losing streak of four games as they beat Sesi-SP in four sets.
