Brazilian SuperLeague can easily stay without some major volleyball stars during this summer.

Many clubs are forced to significantly decrease their budgets. First of all Sesi, which might play the next season with U23 selection! Therefore, their main stars, including Jaqueline Carvalho and Fabiana Claudino, will have to look for some other club.

While Fabiana Claudino has an offer from Praia Clube, Jaqueline Carvalho said for Brazilian media that she is seriously thinking about going abroad.

“I have had some proposals from Brazil, but more offers came from abroad. Here in Brazil we have no room to play, as most teams have already filled their rosters with maximum number of points. Therefore, I cannot discard the possibility of leaving the country. I am very sad about this, but it is our reality in Brazil,” said Jaqueline Carvalho.

The similar situation is happening in Osasco, where Thaisa Daher could not reach an agreement about her salary, so she may also leave the country.

“It’s a player’s life. I am not worried. There are people that will take care of that. They will bring me the best offers and then I will decide. If I have to go abroad, I will go,” said Thaisa.
