“The conflict of interest tends to happen. However, by defending Brazilian volleyball I am defending the world volleyball, because Brazil is the example to be followed. Conflict of interest will not arise if you can avoid it and I’ll do anything to avoid” he said.
Despite the concern, Graca is already planning to move away from his former positions, and at least for now, to devote himself solely to FIVB. Considering the current organ system “archaic“, he predicts much work for himself.
