BEL M: Roesleare and Maaseik heal Champions League wounds with straight-set wins back home

Knack Roeselare swept Haasrode Leuwen in Round 2 of the Play-off 1 in the 2017/18 Belgian men’s volleyball championship EuroMillions Volley League.

In Pool B of the second stage of EuroMillions Volley League (Playoff 1), Roeselare easily defeated Leuven by a 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-22) to get a 2-0 record and 6 points. Hendrik Tuerlinckx topped Roeselare with 18 points. Niels Huysegoms scored 12 points for Leuven.

Noliko Maaseik scored a straight-set win over VBC Waremme in Pool A and also have a 2-0 record and 6 points.

Lindemans Aalst (Frenchman Jhon Wendt 17 points, including 4 kill blocks) had difficulties to outplay Par-ky Menen (Jelle Sinnesael 19 points, including 8 kill blocks!) in Pool C, 3-2, but joined Roeselare and Maaseik with a perfect record and 5 points on their account.
