CYP M: By claiming tie-breaker in Game 3 of finals, Pafiakos seal title after 12 years

Green Air Pafiakos clinched their fourth title in the Cypriot men’s volleyball championship and dethroned Omonia after three seasons.

The top-seed Pafiakos won Game 3 of the 2017/18 OPAP A Division playoff finals against No.2 Omonia at home by a 3-2, making a 3-0 run in the tie-break at 12-12. Partially, it was 22-25, 25-18, 25-18, 22-25, 15-12.

Thus, Pafiakos prevailed in the series by a 4-1, starting the series with a 2-0 win (according to the Cypriot federation rule), and won the national title after 12 years.
