Iuliana Roxana Nucu
Iuliana in the last few days signed a one year contract (with an option for one more year) with the Asystel Volley NOVARA, unfortunately, she will be forced to have a long break. Iuliana Nucu played for NOVARA in 2003 for 3 years until 2006.
Volley NOVARA General Manager Enrico Marchioni said: “We wanted to return Iuliana in NOVARA and we have no problem to find an agreement, she has proven to be wonderful person. Her dream was to be able to play again a couple of years NOVARA, where she began her career in Italy and where, she confessed, she wanted to close it. From a distance we and the NOVARA fans will be with her, give her the strength and will to heal. We do not know if she will come back on the field but right now the important thing is that after the ugly incident she is still alive. Even if she can not play on the field for us Iuliana will be part of a team. We hope soon to be able to have her on our side.”
