All in all, an excellent job from everyone which gave us an easy win. Our opponent will want to take revenge in Roma. They’ll play home in a gym that has strange lights. We’ll try our best. This is a special day for me because Nela was born yesterday at midnight and a quarter (his first child). An unbelievable emotion: obviously this victory goes out to her”.
Andrea Giani (coach M.Roma Volley): “These are strange playoffs. Playing right after the league quarter-finals was difficult. We might have paid the price for too many games in just a few days. I chose to line up players that had not played much during the season. That was a chance to show what they were capable of. There has not been a real preparation to this game and I think it was obvious”
