Lube Civitanova and Perugia have continued race for a pol position in the Italian Serie A1.
Both teams scored 3-0 victories on home courts to stay on the winning path.
Currently top-placed Perugia have scored another win, beating Ravenna 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-16). Sebastian Sole was the best scorer with 15 points, while Oleh Plotnytskyi contributed with 14, Thijs Ter Host with 12 and Kamil Rychlicki with 11. On the other side, Marko Vukasinovic had 11 points.
Lube have defeated Vibo Valentia 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-12). They didn’t have any difficulties against the rival and from the beginning of the game, it was obvious that Lube are going to take 3 points.
Marlon (14 points), Lucarelli (13 points) and Robertlandy (12 points) led Lube to the win.
A very interesting game was played between Verona and Milano. The home side was slightly better, beating the rival in the tie-break to record the victory.
Rok Muzic was the top scorer of the game with 26, while the U.S. outside hitter Thomas Jaeschke had 25 points on the other side.
