The Italian men’s volleyball side Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza no longer hides its intentions, about which media in the country speculated in the last couple of months.
Piacenza will, as it seems from this standpoint, have a fantastic squad next season. Isabella Cocciolo, the director of Gas Sales Energia, the main sponsor of the club, speaking on the broadcast of Telelibertà, announced two important signings for next season.
Rumors of the transfer of one of them, Cuban Robertlandy Simón, have been circulating for a while and the company’s official has confirmed them. The other name is Brazilian Ricardo Lucarelli, who was chosen as an option instead of Pole Bartosz Bednorz, who’ll likely go to China even though he signed the pre-contract with Piacenza. Both Simón and Lucarelli are coming from the reigning SuperLega champions Cucine Lube Civitanova.
