ITA W: Novara in trouble – season over for Poulter

One day before their debut in the CEV Women’s Volleyball Champions League for 2022–23, Igor Gorgonzola Novara learned that they remained without their starting setter for the rest of the season.

Novara are preparing for their seasonal debut in the Champions League: tomorrow evening, the title contenders in the Italian Serie A will host the Germans from SC Potsdam, currently first in the Bundesliga.

Among the ranks of Novara, there’ll be no American setter Jordyn Poulter, who injured her left knee during the fourth set of the match against Bartoccini-Fortinfissi Perugia. The examinations have highlighted the injury of the cruciate and collateral ligaments and the meniscus of the Best Setter in the last Olympic Games, conquered by the USA. Recovery time excludes Poulter’s return to the court during the season.
