Bartosz Kurek drove down from Poland today and arrived in Macerata, where he joined the other three players who began pre-season training. “I am happy to be here again and play with the league title printed on our shirt – said the spiker – I am ready and extremely motivated for the new season. I am very sad not to take part in the World Championships with my national team but I’ll support my Polish teammates. Hopefully, it will be Poland versus Italy in the final. In Macerata I’ll be with many of the guys with whom I won the title last May, the main change came at the outside hitter position. This new team is definitely very competitive, we’ll try to go all the way in every competition we take part in”.
