The top seed Bolívar won the 2018/19 Liga de Vóleibol Argentina playoff quarterfinals against No.8 River Plate by a 3-0 but by overturning rivals’ lead in Game 3 from 0-2 to 3-2. Partially, the game at River Plate’s hall in Buenos Aires, which lasted exactly two hours, ended by a 23-25, 22-25, 27-25, 25-21, 15-11. Lucas Ocampo led the scorers for Bolívar, who had five double-digit players, with 16 points and an astonishing 89% positive reception. Veteran outside hitter from Brazil, Renato Adornelas, top-scored for River Plate with 20 points.
In the semifinals, Bolívar will face Libertad Burgi Vóley who won the series against UNTreF Voley by a 3-0 as well, winning Game 3 in four sets.
