In only three minutes over an hour, Atom Trefl dstroyed Gent Dames in their DenizBank Champions League matchup. Busto Arsizio suffered a home defeat versus Prosecco Conegliano and significantly lowered chances to go trough the group phase. In the last game Beziers easily lost to powerful Rabita Baku.

Coach Buijs mixed up the Atom Trefl team during entire match and that just shows how much better they were then their opponents. In front of 1900 fans in Hala Ergo Arena in Gdansk Atom won by 3-0 (25-9, 25-20, 25-17).

Anna Podolec scored 13 points while Zuzanna Efimienko helped her with 9 on Atom Trefl. Losing side’s best scorers were Lise De Valkeneer with 13 and Karolien Verstrepen who scored 6.

Unendo Yamamay had full Palayamamay arena in Busto Arsizio behind themselves but that didn’t helped them to win any points versus Prosecco Doc-Imoco. Team from Conegliano was in control the whole time and after 109 minutes score was 1-3 (13-25, 22-25, 25-22, 17-25)

Emiliya Nikolova had high score of the game with 23 points, and Valentina Tirozzi who got in game in second set scored 12 in the winning side. Unendo Yamamay’s Anne Buijs scored 18 and Marika Bianchini got 17.

Rabita marched trough Beziers with the force. After three sets, result was 0-3 (23-25, 20-25, 16-25). Rachel Rourke scored 21 points in a campaign, and Aurea Cruz got 11. On the losing side Helene Schleck got to 15, while Deesing scored 11.
