Russia vs. Iran
Some will say that Russia is playing its worst tournament in years, some would say that Iran has finally showed its true face… Anyway the score is the only important thing. And it says that Iran has totally outplayed Russia!
This was the very first win for Iran in the World League 2015, and a truly huge one. Ebadipour Ghara and Mojtaba Mirzajanpour were leading the winning side with 14 points each.
On the other side Russia has a lot of worries. Not just that Zbornaya is now very far away from the Final Six (overall score 0-5!!!), but Russia might be in serious danger to finish the first stage at the last place in all World League Group 1, which would mean relegation to the Group 2 in the next season!!!
It should also be noted that the home team played without Dmitriy Muserskiy on this match.

when USA and Poland beat Russia, noone said Russia was weak! everyone said USA and Poland were strong!
and now that Iran did the same thing to Russia, some people are saying that Russia was weak and this is why Iran could win!!!
