EST W: Sweep in playoff finals – Third consecutive title for Kohila

Kohila Võrkpalliklubi defended the trophy in the national championship of Estonia (Meeste Liiga) and took the third consecutive title.

Kohila swept TTÜ/Tradehouse in playoff finals (3-0 in series) by beating them in front of home crowd in Game 3, 3-0 (25-22, 25-16, 26-24). During these three games, Kohila allowed TTU to win only one set and their domination was also confirmed in what turned out as a decisive game – 44% -35% in attack, 10-7 in blocks, 11-4 in aces.

Kertu Laak topped Kohila’s scorers in Game 3 with 17 points. Kaisa Õunpuu had 10 in TTU.

Kohila had a very successful season. In addition to the Estonian Championship, they also defended the gold medal in the Baltic League (the top official competition for clubs in the Baltic countries – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania).
