In the crucial meeting in the last round of the first fase of the Plusliga you had a chance choose your own rival.

Michal Lasko: “We did honor to the end, but in fact we were in a situation where we could choose our next opponent in the playoffs. I want to clear that we have respect for every opponent regardless of whether it ranks at the top of the table or at the bottom. We played the best volleyball we can play”.

You talk about the Italian league? Can you give an example?

“First of all I do not want to judge because I do not know if some teams were losing on purpose or not. I can tell you that our team has a clear conscience. As for the Serie A1, a few years ago Trento wanted to avoid Treviso in the play-offs and lost the crucial match of the closing phase with the last team in the table. After that event the league authorities decided that the last round will be played in one day at the same time”.

Jastrzebski WEGIEL completed the first round of the PlusLiga at the second place. This is a really good result.

“I am happy with the team and the result. This result gives us the possibility to play the first two playoff meetings both in the quarter-finals and semi-final stage at home”.

Last year you complained about shoulder problems. This season is all right?

“Yes I feel much better. But in the play offs will be a little harder”.

In the first round of the playoff Jastrzębski WEGIEL face of Effector Kielce. So fare you play well with that rival.

“First of all we are not interested about the history of meetings with Kielce. We need to approach this matches with the maximum concentration, commitment and proper respect for the opponent”.
