The players reached the center at 19:00h. Only Anna Podelec and Karolina Kosek are missing, because of the league tournaments which are  still lasting. Podolec will join the training camp on Thursday and Kosek next Wednesday (18th of April).

The atmosphere is good – said coach of the national team, Alojzy Świderek – Before Easter, in Warsaw, I spoke with the girls about a general assumptions. Today we accommodated, had a dinner and discussed the plan for the next three weeks. Since tomorrow a hard work begins. We will have two three-hour trainings per day, as well as physical preparation training three times per week. The players will have Sunday off and next week both Saturday and Sunday off.

In Szczyrk, polish volleyball players will train since the 29th of April. During the training camp, the team will play two friendly matches against Germany in Dąbrowa Górnicza (26th -27th of April).

It is hard to change particular habits of the players in such a short period of time – said coach Świderek.  – Surely we will keep on working on the Speer on the game, what we have already been practicing last season.

Immediately after the camp, 12 players will depart to Ankara to fight for the qualifications to the Olympic games. Coach Świderek will decide who will get on a plane to Turkey, after the second match against German team.

At the Olympic games qualification tournament in London the white-and-reds will play in group B with Serbia, Russia and the Netherlands. Group A will be composed of the following: Germany, Turkey, Bulgaria and Croatia. Only one team will win gain the right to participate in the Olympic tournament in London.
