Russia’s Belogorie BELGOROD is the undisputed leader in preliminary Pool B of the 2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League with three straight victories and maximum points – nine – after three rounds. On Tuesday they are set to host Czech champions VK OSTRAVA to prolong their winning streak.

The players of Belogorie just got back home after a long journey to Novosibirsk where they played the winners of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League, Lokomotiv, for the fourth round of the Russian Superleague.

Belogorie won that game and claimed another three points from the match with the side mentored by Andrey Voronkov, who is also the head coach of Russia men’s national team.

Belogorie and VK OSTRAVA will be crossing their ways once more after BELGOROD won their previous match in straight sets in the Czech Republic. In spite of this, Belogorie team captain Sergey Tetyukhin does not take the upcoming game for an easy task:

We are playing at home and there will be many fans in attendance. So we have to be focused from the start up to the end and it does not really matter how many points our opponents have collected so far in the competition. We will just try to play our best to make our fans happy.”
