Belogorie vs. Halkbank
Both teams want to stay in the race for playoff 6! Turkish team is step closer to reach that goal while the Russian side has nothing to lose.
The head coach of Belogorie Gennady Shipulin decided to leave out some of his starting players in a match against Lokomotiv in domestic championship. Muserskiy, Khtey, Grozer, Travica, Tetyukhin and Bragin didn’t enter the game in Novosibirsk. They kept strength for Halks.
“Of course we made things quite difficult for us after losing the first match in Turkey. However, this is not the first time that we find ourselves in such situation and I am confident that our team spirit and our determination to avenge this defeat will help us claw our way back. We will be fighting as a compact, solid and strong team” said Tetyukhin.
Before the flight to Russia, Halkbank also had a derby game. They beat Arkass in three sets and improved the winning streak up to 20 matches! The best player were on the court – Juantorena (14 points), Sokolov (10) and Kubiak (6).
It will be their third meeting so far. Last season, they met each other in final match of the Champions league and Belogorie beat them 3-1! Turkish side now wants revenge!
The bookmakers are pretty much sure that Belogorie will take the win (1,15), while they think that Halkbank is not strong enough to conquer Belgorod (4,5). But, they also doubt that home team can win in three sets (2,37)…
The match will be played at 17:00 (C.E.T.) in Belgorod. It will be broadcasted by LAOLA1!

I think the result will be 3-1, and then i tie-break Belogorie will win 15-12. 🙂
