Giovanni Guidetti, one of the most successful volleyball coaches of today, didn’t reveal in what direction his career will go but denied the possibility of taking over two national teams, to which the media recently tied him.
During the press conference held together with the Turkish federation officials in regard to his departure from the country’s women’s national team bench, Guidetti answered a question about what his next adventures with a national team will be.
In the last few days, the name of the prominent Italian expert has been tied to the Italy Women and the Netherlands Women. In relation to the first hypothesis, Guidetti’s answer was: “At the moment, there’s a successful coach for Italy, and the conditions for this aren’t favorable,“ while for the ’Orange’, which he commanded before Turkey, he stressed that there’s still no initiative from their side. Guidetti added: “It’s only November 25 (the date of the press conference). The road to summer is still long.“
