Famous Brazilian setter Karine Guerra de Souza signed a one year contract with the Swiss Champion and Cup winner - Volero ZURICH. Karine played for Voleybol Aguere and Tenerife from Spain, Umbra from Italy, and Brazilian clubs ASBS Suzano, Pinheiros, Minas Tenis Clube, Cattiva Opnus Brusque, and Sollys OSASCO.

Karine was born on February 25th 1979 and she is 178cm tall. In her career Karine played for Voleybol Aguere and Tenerife from Spain, Umbra from Italy, and a number of Brazilian clubs, ASBS Suzano, Pinheiros, Minas Tenis Clube, Cattiva Opnus Brusque, and from 2011 she played for Sollys OSASCO. In her career Karine won the Gold medal at 2012 FIVB Clubs World Championship, Gold medal at South American Championship in 2011 and 2012, the Brazilian Superleague 2011/12, Bronze medal on the FIVB Clubs World Championship 2011, Paulista Championship in 2010, 2011 and 2012, Sao Paolo Cup 2011, and she was awarded the best setter of South American Championship 2011.
