Constanta, Romania, December 11, 2011. After opening its first campaign in Europe’s most elitist competition, the CEV Volleyball Champions League, with two consecutive defeats, Romania’s 2004 Tomis CONSTANTA is looking forward to the double-header with Italy’s Volley BERGAMO which is likely to determine who will eventually finish in third place in Pool D given that Azerrail BAKU and Vakifbank TTelekom ISTANBUL look already out of reach.

Some 2’000 fans are expected to find their way to the local sports hall in Constanta as Italy’s multiple champions and their superstar Francesca Piccinini travel to Romania’s seaside. As they also lost their opening matches to Vakifbank and Azerrail, the Italians are evidently looking forward to seizing their first points in the competition.

We improved the quality of our play last week in Istanbul” says local head coach Darko Zakocand I am confident we will get a good result from this game”.
