Brazil coach Jose Roberto Lages Guimaraes: “At the beginning of the match, we didn’t play so well. But the third set, we started to do better. What we have tried was worthy.”

Brazil captain Fabiana Claudino: “I think we didn’t start so well in the game but fought in the game and win the match. So we think for tomorrow we will play better in the game.”

USA coach Kiraly Karch: “That was a disappointing lost for USA. We made some small improvement from last weekend but it wasn’t enough.”

USA captain Alisha Glass: “First of all, I’d like to congratulate Brazil. They played a nice touch. I’m really proud the way my team fought. We had a fortunate opportunity to play against Brazil for the second time. We wanted to do better but I thought we fought hard.”
