UPCN – UNTREF
Determined not to be surprised by UNTREF Voley as it happened in the first round, UPCN San Juan went out to play with intensity from the first ball in the opening set. Soon it was (15-8). Visitors try to come back, but UPCN won 25-17.
The second set was more interesting because the visitors adjusted their game. They were leading 10-11, but soon after that Fabian Armoa‘s team came forward (16-13). However, when it seemed that UPCN was headed for an easy victory, the visitors reacted to a tie. It was a good set, but the hosts prevailed 25-23.
In the third set, UNTREF Voley started better, thanks to a quick game without mistakes (5-8). Aer that UPCN came into the lead. The teams were tied at (23-23). UPCN won this set 27:25.
Evandro Guerra was the top scorer with 20 points.
