Luciano De Cecco at campus in Argentina
The campus began last Friday at club Maccabi with a class by statesman Genaro Lopez (Datavolley specialist and member of the Argentine national team). On Saturday, the National team surprised children with a special training and a clinic given by Javier Weber. Sebastian Sole (new player of Trentino), Pablo Crer (Vibo Valentia), Ivan Castellani (Montpellier Volley), Bruno Romanutti (Kielce, Poland) and Ezequiel Palacios (Formosa) shared their experiences with the group.
With the help of his girlfriend, Francesca Ferretti (Italian national team setter), De Cecco closed the event on Sunday with a tournament overseen by former coach of Ziraat Bankasi (Turkey) Juan Manuel Barrial.
“Thanks for having fulfilled the dream to make a campus in my country. It won´t be the last one. I pretend to give back to volleyball something of what it gave to me”, said Argentine captain.
