The Argentine team prepared themselves very hard during this 2012 season participating of a four-team friendly competition in the city of General Alvear, Mendoza; in another friendly tour in Buenos Aires province different cities playing against Italy and also in the usual A2 upgrading Argentine League playing against Senior Teams that want to participate afterwards at the A1 National competition. They also competed in a traditional Cordoba tournament.
With all these background, the boys will go for one of the first year’s three berths for South American teams offered by the International Volleyball Federation.
The competition will take place at the Olympic Training Centre in the city of Santiago de Chile.
Argentina comes from winning the last two editions of the South American Youth’s Boys Championship including a historical title in Poços de Caldas (Brazil 2008) and the sucessful result in La Guaira (Venezuela 2010).
