A 57-year-old coach Émile Rousseaux retired after the 2017/18 season in which his club Knack Roeselare lost five-year supremacy in Volley League to Noliko Maaseik.

Émile was at the helm of the club during the above-mentioned title streak in the Belgian championship. In addition to this, he won four national cups and two national Super cups with Roeselare.

Émile is a proud father of the two Belgium national team players – a daughter Hélène and a son Tomas, both competing in Poland at the moment.

In the honor of their legendary coach, Roeselare will organize the after-season event on May 17.
