GER M: City honors for BR Volleys and Mark Lebedew

Berlin has a lot of sports clubs, and many of them could brag about successful year. Hertha BSC came back to Bundesliga, Alba won a National Cup, Polar Bears defended ice hockey title… But, the prize for the best club from Berlin in 2013 went to address of BR Volleys.

Volleyball club from Berlin has won German Championship again, and secured a ticket for competing in CEV Champions League.

This is an incredible honor for us and the reward for the work we have all done together in this year. Players, coaches, medical department, the office, our sponsors and partners, and the many volunteers… They all have a share in this great success” – said Kaweh Niroomand, manager of BR Volleys.

Also, club got another significant recognition. Coach Mark Lebedew has been shosen as the second best coach in the city, behind Jos Luhukay of Hertha BSC.
