In the first two sets, the formation of Gaspari caged PIACENZA with an effective wall-defense, as evidenced by the 15 blocks total (of which eleven are in the first two sets). Then the injury of Nikolova came, which did not facilitate the task of Imoco. First Zanotto, then Crozzolin and finally captain Calloni: in a situation of emergency PIACENZA came back and won in tie break.
The MVP award was assigned to Calloni, but a big round of applause goes to Valentina Fiorin, top scorer with 23 points.
