ITA W: Monza react perfectly after losing Game 1, postponing verdict on semifinals against Novara to Game 3

No.3 Vero Volley Monza equalized the result in the series of the 2021/22 Italian Women’s Volleyball Championship semifinals against No.2 Igor Gorgonzola Novara to 1-1.

We’ll have to wait for Game 3 between Monza and Novara to get to know Prosecco Doc Imoco Volley Conegliano’s rivals in the 2021/22 Serie A finals.

Driven by the Pole Magdalena Stysiak (12 points), Monza equalized the score in the semi-final series against Novara by winning 3-0 in Game 2 at home in front of 4,000 spectators. Marco Gaspari’s team played one of the best games of the season, especially in reception (73%; 58% perfect) where Alessia Gennari stood out the most with 76% (29 digs, 2 errors, 59 perfect).
