Palmi wanted to end speculations in connection with the alleged illegal appearance of their player who underwent sex change Tifanny and posted a letter sent by the Italian Volleyball Federation (Fipav) and signed by General Secretary Alberto Rabiti, on their website. A document was sent by the Fipav and it simply applies the guidelines issued by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in 2015.
It was sent to the vice-president of the Italian Women’s Volleyball League (Lega Pallavolo di Serie A Femminile), Piero Rebaudengo and says that Fipav doctor Sergio Cameli received all the necessary documentation which authorizes Tifanny‘s volleyball activity throughout Italy.
Thus, Palmi concluded there was no regulatory hole in the case of Tifanny.
