Only in the third set, the team of Nikola Grbic gave some resistance but it was not enough to extend the game.
Verona had to play without Mitar Djuric and that’s still a big problem for them. On the other side, Earvin Ngapeth and Giulio Sabbi had good displays to push Modena to the semifinals. These two players scored 14 points each.
In the semifinals, Modena will meet Lube Civitanova, while in the second semifinal game, Perugia will play against Trentino.
