“I feel so sorry for Jacob Guymer and Sam Walker. These 2 players trained and played with the National Team all season but they were sent home because Australia could not afford to pay for 2 more players.”

that it is not a money problem. i would not make a big deal out of it. there are several other (also rich) teams with less than 14 player on their respective roster:
12 players have: cuba, egypt, puerto rico, korea
13 players have: canada, cameroon
