WCH M: Sad news – Australia can only afford 12 Players

While other rich teams have 14 players, Australia can only afford 12 players to travel and compete at the 2014 FIVB Men’s World Championship in Poland.

Source tells Volleywood:

“I feel so sorry for Jacob Guymer and Sam Walker. These 2 players trained and played with the National Team all season but they were sent home because Australia could not afford to pay for 2 more players.

that it is not a money problem. i would not make a big deal out of it. there are several other (also rich) teams with less than 14 player on their respective roster:
12 players have: cuba, egypt, puerto rico, korea
13 players have: canada, cameroon
