“It was a tough match for my group that took a lot of energy and much stress. We knew we had a unique opportunity to make it to the next round and we did not want to dissipate it. We did also exploit the weaknesses of AsystelCarnaghi and did our job in the end”.
With this result another Polish team, Bank BPS Fakro MUSZYNA, eventually missed out on a spot for the Playoffs 12. “I did not know the score of their match and did not want our scoutman to inform me. We could not help MUSZYNA, we just needed to accomplish our mission. I am sad that they are out, but if they had beaten Dinamo MOSCOW, there would have been a second Polish team in the Playoffs 12 adds Grabowski.

As for the DOL, Grabowski hopes to avoid teams from Baku and Istanbul: “The teams from Baku are all strong but it also takes a long journey to make it there. I would be very happy not to go there once more this season. Those from Istanbul, on the other hand, are very tough and most probably the hardest opponents”.
