Rourke was certainly the most valuable addition to the roster of Atom Trefl this season. Some weeks before the start of the national league she already looked in good shape and scored the first points for her side in a friendly game. Some people were questioning her ability to score with that same consistency in the national league as well as in the CEV Volleyball Champions League. It did not take that long to get the answer to this question.
In the first match of the regular season with Siodemka LEGIONOWO, Rourke scored 29 points and was voted MVP. She added 24 to her tally in the clash with Tauron MKS DABROWA GORNICZA. However, she recorded the highest digits against PTPS PILA, totaling 30 in the regular season and 29 in the Playoffs. She was the one who anchored Atom Trefl in the final series as she charted 28 points and was voted MVP for the tenth time this season in the last game of the semifinal series with Bank BPS Fakro MUSZYNA, the winner of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Cup.
Rourke tops the charts of the best scorers in the national league with 488 points well ahead of Helena Horka (388) and Sanja Popovic (377). This means she only needs to score 12 more to break the 500 barrier with the all-time record standing at 510 set by Katarzyna Mroczkowska in the 2008/2009 season.
